Fairly convenient and close to the train station. The lovely lady staffing the reception desk at night was really kind and helpful! She took a lot of effort to personally find a laundromat for me and came up to my room to tell me where it was! The room was quite small but clean and manageable. I also loved the mini tuck shop!

Terrible smell and rude, unhelpful staff

Really bad smell in the room - when we raised it with staff they were dismissive and put the onus on us to deal with the problem. Apparently it was our fault for not coming down early enough to talk to them even though we told them we had an early booking for a coach that we couldn’t miss. On more than one occasion with more than one staff member, we were dismissed and spoken in an extremely rude and sarcastic tone. The smell was really bad that it made us feel sick. It was obvious that staff were talking and sniggering about us whilst we were there. We raised concerns with the manager before leaving who said he was sorry and that he would be open to offering a refund however when trying to chase this after we left we seem to receive no response. Absolutely terrible service - the only good thing is the location but there are other hotels in the area which I’m sure have more friendly and helpful staff who will actually make you feel welcome.

Great example of an Ibis hotel. Within easy walking distance of the train station. Some nice good value places to eat very close by as well. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all a pleasant stay. Would happily stay here again in the future.

Clean hotel. Room adequate for short stay. Clean and decent shower room. Air con worked well which was good as very warm outside. Arrived in morning and Couldn’t check in till afternoon but staff locked luggage in a room so could go exploring Geneva without carrying baggage about. You know what you are getting with an Ibis if comparing that the room isn’t beg enough or no kettle then book somewhere else. Good location near train station and everything is within easy reach by tram or bus.

Pretty good hotel from the Accor group, there are only a couple of things that prevent it from being a 5/5. Firstly, all flexible bookings are pre-authorised prior to arrival which is baffling, secondly, there are no tea or coffee facilities in the room. Apart from that, the hotel is clean, in a safe area and the staff are great. Very eco-aware too with no plastics, everything is either in glass or recyclable paper. Would definitely stay again.
